WASHING THE DISHES

The first of these pictures is one of my new all-time favorites. I love it so much because it is entirely candid - completely authentic - a genuine picture of me. If you know me at all (or if you are a fan of my work), you know how much I love washing dishes. It’s a perfect example of how I employ Body Keys every day, but the image goes deeper for me.

If you’ll notice, I’m smiling big. That’s because I was joking with Lara - who was just beside me since we wash dishes now as a team. It’s because daily life makes me smile. It’s because what I once worked so hard for (and failed to achieve) has become the-most-natural-thing.

This image surprised me not only because I had no clue my wife even took it, but also because it showed me just how far we had come. It showed me that what we have been doing is working incredibly well. It was proof that life gets to be good.

If you’ve followed me here for some time, you have witnessed how my life has changed. You’ve watched me release services, institute new ones, and even get married (so good)! You’ve watched my life condense + improve.

How did I end up here - in perpetual celebration - with a gorgeous, intelligent wife - in my personal heaven - absolutely surrounded by everything I most enjoy?

It is not because I am some rare kind of ‘smart’ or because I have ‘earned’ it somehow. It arrived as a gift, and remains so.

It is only by Grace that my life has become what it is. It’s by Grace + my choice to embrace it.

By releasing the need to ‘discover myself’ or ‘improve,’ I created the space to acknowledge that Life is already complete. I do not need to ‘figure it out.’ There is nothing that’s missing, at all.

Life is only as difficult as we have made it; in truth, it is easy + bright. I will say that again: life is easy, and simple, and bright.

This is not some grand theory or hope. It is not some new concept I heard on a podcast or read.

It is what I am showing you here, every day: it is what I have proven, and live.

CONCLUSION

Each of us is alive for the pleasure of living; that’s all. It could not be more simple, or free.

Each of us is deserving of our perfect heaven; it’s as ready for you as for me.
