LEARNING TOGETHER INSTEAD
Describing his teacher, Martin Schleske had this to say: “A truly good teacher does not want to teach, but to learn.” And this single sentence describes my intention as well.
I often imagine myself on a walk in the woods with whomever my heart may be serving. Most trails in this forest have become familiar to me, but anything we may encounter is new - no matter how often I’ve seen it.
There isn’t a “teacher” or “student” in this vision: only two spellbound explorers, absorbing the journey’s surprise.
That which I have seen before I can point at; but when it is seen by the other, what I have known of it grows.
