PROFESSIONAL HISTORY (A WINDOW)
Those of you who have followed me for some time may have noticed that my personal history remains a fairly labyrinthine (and even sometimes elusive) subject. This has been especially true of my professional past, since I have never preferred to identify myself with job titles or define myself by professional competence.
That said, it can be fun to look back on the general trajectory of a story, and mine certainly has enough twists + turns to make it interesting. I’ve often described this as “packing a whole lot of life into a small amount of time.”
So today, I thought I might share a glimpse of what that has looked like for me from a professional standpoint, starting at the age of just 14 when I landed my first real job with a next-door neighbor.
