NEW MOON + SOLAR ECLIPSE
Yesterday was an important day. As if the New Moon + Eclipse were not enough to generate excitement, these past several weeks with Lara have confirmed its absolute significance for us. So when we settled in with our Americanos bright-and-early yesterday to pull a card, the moment was as special as it felt. The card that came to join us was the Five of Swords, which prominently flaunts the word ‘Defeat.’
Traditionally, this would be a disappointing pull, but we knew better. Lara noted instantly that this card was referring to the final moments leading up to the New Moon / Eclipse: a period of ultimate release. Sure enough: the card’s descriptions spoke of learning to release our greatest fears.
The frequency of this card (59) helped us to explore its inner meaning. For example, Celebrate Beauty is a match to number 59. So is Fascination, Lighten Up, and Open Heart. Later in the day, we’d find much more. For instance: Blameless, Culmination, Growth.
Initiating is another word that matched. This corresponded to the major theme of the New Moon / Eclipse, which was determined by Gate 51: Initiation!

Later, after watching the eclipse from our back yard, we took a bath. As usual, our gentle conversation was inspired. We talked about what this new world might hold. What had we been initiated to?
We both agreed that it was a rich life of celebration: of sharing + of pleasure + of play.

This morning, on the other side of yesterday’s events, we pulled a new card. This card would help us to understand what these past several weeks had led us to. This card would reveal our bright new world.
While she shuffled, I reminded Lara of the New Moon Declaration we had crafted in our bath the night before: Thank you for initiating us to a rich life of pleasure + of play.
Sure enough, the card that came to join was Six of Cups: Pleasure. Its frequency was 46. (The 46th Gene Key is called ‘Delight.’)
AN INVITATION
The signs confirm that this new world is good. The frequency of 46 includes words like Break Open, Genesis, Prize, and Renewed.
