THE PHILOSOPHER'S STONE
In mythic lore, the Alchemists were known for their development of the art of transmutation, which attempted to convert mundane material to far more precious metals, such as gold. The mystical application of this art of transmutation has been used to do the same: refining one’s awareness of mundane experience until the golden light of Truth could be perceived.
In both mystical + mythic forms of alchemy, we learn about the magical existence of an object which is capable of turning anything it touches into gold. This has gone by many names, but is best known as The Philosopher’s (White) Stone. The effort to uncover it was believed by alchemists to be their Magnum Opus (or: Great Work).

Of course, these ancient stories were intended to convey an inner truth. The stone for which the alchemists have sought is Truth Itself. The work of transmutation is an inner art of processing each circumstance + moment for its gold.
The fact is that it’s possible to recognize the Light in all we see. Existence is made up of + sustained by God Itself. Perfection is alive in every person + event: in every-thing. There isn’t an exception to this rule.
This Truth, then, is the Touchstone that reveals the existential value of all things: converting what we press against it into clarity + insight (real-life gold).

The alchemists described their search for this important stone as The Great Work. But our work, having found it, must surpass this. Our Great Work must be to consciously employ the prize we’ve found.
Seer Training is the practice of extracting every moment for its gold. It means to face experience exactly as it is, and see beneath it. This skill must be developed over time.
Not everyone is suited for this work (though all, in time, will be). If reading this awakens something in you: we should talk. It may be time to enter The Great Work.
